Your dear sweet blogger is also known as: UnAmerika’s Sweetheart Karin Webb

Karin is a Performance Artist, Sex Geek, and Creative Force currently in the process of building a kink-related project entitled the “ABCs Of Kink”. This project will chronicle her exploration of kink and encourages conversation and questioning amongst all the communities reading. Historically Karin’s body of work skips across mediums, yet steadily explores Gender, Identity, Sexuality, Presentness, and Communication. She works as an actor, dancer, drag king, burlesque performer, puppeteer, writer, director, teacher, enthusiastic demo bottom, and sexuality educator.

She’s an original member of All The Kings Men (ATKM); she has a BFA in acting from Boston University, a certificate in Ensemble and Physical Theater from Dell’Arte International School of Physical Theater, and spent time at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (LAMDA). She has toured with various companies extensively around the United States, Canada, and London, and has had her writing produced for theater. Karin has performed on many stages in the Boston Area, both underground and legit including frequent appearances at OBERON, the Somerville Theater, the BCA, and once even the ICA (to be repeated hopefully!). Karin has recently worked with both Liars and Believers and Whistler in the Dark Theater, and can bee seen yearly in “The Slutcracker“. She was one of two actors in the Elliot Norton Award winning production of “Collected Stories” by Gloucester Stage Company, and recent IRNE nominee for her original work with Elephant Tango Ensemble Puppets.

ATKM has been named “Best Lesbian Performance Troupe” by Curve Magazine, “Best Drag King Troupe” by GO NYC Magazine, and they have won numerous Readers Choice Awards over the past 11 years. Among other film titles such as the locally produced “TEN“, Karin co-stars in “Play In The Gray”, a full-length documentary about ATKM, gender, and identity, and an interview with them has been published in the National Gay and Lesbian Review. Karin is also the creator of Axe To Ice Productions, Dream Weird, Burns and Webb, and the much loved Bent Wit Cabaret (RIP). Her most recent project is the very blog you are reading entitled “ABCs of Kink”, and she has been performing, writing, directing, and teaching theater (in many various forms), movement, creativity, and dance for over 20 years.
